Canon EF 135mm f/2 L USM
Dear readers,I am working on comparison of several 135mm lenses, using Sony NEX 7 and different adapters. To prepare those posts takes time, and I am struggling to find some, so please be patient (if you are interested) about written part and my opinion.

Hi, Viktor, I just happened upon your website — It’s great! I am also an NEX user and am wondering about adapters. I am looking at a Tokina lens and wondered what type of adapter I should get… I will continue to read your posts…very educational! Thank you so much, T.K. Goforth

I’d love to give you advise for the adapter, but with Tokina it is important to know, for which mount it was made. As a third party producer, Tokina made lenses for Canon (FD and EF), Nikon, Olympus, Minolta (MD and A) and probably some others. If you are not sure, try to look on the lens rear cap from inside. They used to pit some letters inside such as C, OM, N etc.

Thank you Viktor. I am looking for a good portrait lens for my Sony A6000. This article suggests that the Canon 135mm f2L “lord of the ring” still carry its mojo across… thanks.
